Allied World appoints managing agency chair

Allied World Assurance Company (AWAC) has appointed Jonathan Evans as non-executive chairman of its Lloyd’s managing agency. Evans will also join AWAC’s board of directors.

Between May 2010 and March 2015, Evans served as the UK Member of Parliament for Cardiff North. He was first elected to Parliament in 1992, and has served for two decades in the House of Commons and in the European Parliament in Brussels.
