Dubai specialty platform elseco hires Beazley’s former energy boss

elseco, a technology specialty insurance underwriting platform headquartered at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), has appointed Matthew Holmes as head of energy.

Based in London, Holmes will lead the expansion of elseco’s global energy underwriting portfolio. He was previously the head of energy at Beazley.

elseco’s financial technology platform, which deploys capacity to specialty insurance lines globally, is currently supported by 60 leading insurance companies.
