Hyperion appoints CIO
Hyperion Insurance Group, an international insurance intermediary group, has appointed David Jack to the newly created role of chief information officer.
Jack joins Hyperion from thetrainline.com where he spent four years looking after all aspects of technology as CIO.
“As the market for our products and services becomes increasingly global, competitive and demanding, delivering an outstanding client service is vital,” said David Howden, CEO of Hyperion. “Investing in a world-class technology platform enables us to maximise the value of the data at our disposal; essential if we are to adapt in line with the needs of our clients, and continue to provide them with the very best solutions. With 25 years’ experience in companies that put the customer at the heart of their growth plans, David brings a strong commercial and client focus, and will galvanise our global approach to IT, systems, data and, importantly, product.”
Jack said: “Hyperion has always been a client-focused business, and I’m looking forward to building on this as the Group continues to expand globally and strengthen its capabilities. As we push towards global alignment, it’s now more important than ever for us to invest in technology. Making the most of the data and other valuable assets within the Group will ensure we’re equipped to deliver an outstanding customer experience.”
