Munich Re Underwriting exec departs

Oliver Crabtree, the joint active underwriter of Munich Re Underwriting, will depart at the end of 2015 for personal reasons.

The managing agency runs Watkins Syndicate 457, a marine insurance underwriter.

Munich Re confirmed that Crabtree will depart but that he will continue to make his in-depth expertise and experience available to Munich Re Underwriting on a consulting basis.

Crabtree joined the managing agency in 2001, and currently serves as director of the board.
