PartnerRe Wholesale lures AIG exec
PartnerRe Wholesale, the wholesale division of PartnerRe, has appointed Elizabeth Ilott as underwriting manager.
Ilott joins PartnerRe from AIG, where she held the role of head of professional liability and cyber for EMEA. Having first joined AIG's PI team in 2001, she became the chief operating officer for financial lines.
She will report directly to Marc van der Veer, general manager PartnerRe Wholesale and will be based in London. Ilott will lead the international underwriting team based in London, Amsterdam and Paris.

We have made significant progress in our first year in building a portfolio of multiple partners across several territories, including Europe and Middle East. We have an ambitious plan to grow our network of distribution partners by the end of 2015. To do this, we need to maintain our momentum in our current markets, while pushing into others. Ms Ilott will be a great asset to the team, and a key part of helping us achieve those goals”
