Peak Re hires Barclays exec

Peak Re, the Hong Kong-based reinsurer, has appointed Jackie Wong as senior vice president mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Wong will work closely with Peak Re’s senior management team to explore strategic opportunities and new business areas for the group.

Prior to joining Peak Re, Wong was the vice president of financial institutions group, investment banking at Barclays Hong Kong office specialising in insurance M&A and capital markets transactions. She also worked at Barclays New York office where she covered insurance and reinsurance clients in North America.
