Starr Companies names domestic insurance CUO

Insurance firm Starr Companies has promoted Richard Bessinger to chief underwriting officer.

Bessinger will serve as CUO for the firm's domestic insurance companies including - Starr Indemnity & Liability Company, Starr Specialty Insurance Company, and Starr Surplus Lines Insurance Company.

Bessinger has led underwriting product management and development since 2009 at Starr, and has led a variety of underwriting organisations during his career.
