The most-used non-life reinsurers in LatAm
Researchers quizzed cedants on which reinsurers they like to work with on specific lines of business. The following tables show the reinsurers named the most often in Latin America by line of business.
The 2015 Flaspöhler LatAm non-life (cedants) survey, by the Flaspöhler Research Group, is based on the responses of 397 cedants, representing 179 companies in 31 countries in Latin America.
Researchers asked cedants which reinsurers they rate highly when it comes to a number of different specific lines of business. The following tables show the top reinsurers mentioned in each category, the percentage figure referring to the number of cedants that named that reinsurer.
The most-mentioned reinsurer in each category and its score is shown top; the other companies are ranked not by score but in alphabetical order.
