WTW lands ex-Marsh/Goldman Sachs leader to turbocharge growth in FI and banking

Global insurance broker WTW plucked a former Marsh and Goldman Sachs leader for its financial institutions and professional services industry unit within Corporate Risk and Broking, North America.

Alex deLaricheliere joins WTW as strategy and execution leader, and banking subvertical leader within the FIPS industry division.

deLaricheliere has more than 20 years of experience including leadership roles at Marsh and Goldman Sachs. deLaricheilere has helped FIPS firms to optimise and transfer risk. 

WTW said he is poised to help sustain FIPS’ momentum in the market and turbocharge the company’s efforts in the banking subindustry.

In his new role, deLaricheliere will report to Brad Messinger, head of financial institutions & professional services, to formulate and execute strategic initiatives while managing the division's financial performance. He will also define the overarching service strategy for the division. Simultaneously, as the banking subvertical leader, deLaricheliere is expected to lead endeavours aimed at serving banking clients.
