Alastair Campbell will succeed Paul McNamara as chairman of the group audit committee and member of the group remuneration committee following his retirement from the board of Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings. Campbell will also assume the role of executive vice president.
The changes come as part of a reorganisation of the group's board following the redomestication to Bermuda.
Campbell qualified as a chartered accountant in 1968 and most recently was senior partner and chairman of PKF Littlejohn. Following his retirement in 2010 he has worked as a consultant and expert witness on a number of accounting related projects.
"We would like to thank Paul for his guidance and counsel to the group since becoming a non-executive director in 2007 and we wish him well following his retirement from the board,” said Ken Randall, chairman and CEO of R&Q. “We are delighted to welcome Alastair to the R&Q board and look forward to the benefit of his experience as the development of the group continues."
