As 2014 draws to a close, the predictions for this year’s ILS market performance are clearly accurate.
While the third quarter was fairly quiet, the fourth quarter picked up as expected, and 2015 is expected to be another active year.
“We expect a good level of activity in 2015, both from the renewal of expiring bonds and from sponsors seeking new or additional ILS capacity,” says Paul Schultz, CEO at Aon Benfield Securities.
