Acappella Syndicate makes executive appointments

Lloyd’s Acappella syndicate 2014 has appointed David Jones as active underwriter and Matthew Bellamy as deputy active underwriter.

Syndicate 2014 is managed by Pembroke Managing Agency.

Jones has more than 37 years of experience in the London insurance market. He joined Acappella in 2015 to lead the liability division, underwriting professional indemnity, directors & officers, general liability, and crime coverages.

Prior to that, Jones served for 13 years with Markel International overseeing the professional lines and liability team in London. He subsequently joined Sagicor/AmTrust for three years.

Bellamy joined Acappella in 2014. In addition to his deputy appointment, he also will continue in his role as divisional head, property treaty, underwriting the Acappella North American Property Treaty portfolio.
