AGCS appoints CMT and cyber underwriter

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has appointed Graeme King as the senior underwriter responsible for communications media and technology (CMT) and cyber.

In a career spanning 25 years, King brings a wealth of technology experience to AGCS as the leading senior tech PI Underwriter.

As a UK qualified solicitor, he spent over ten years with a number of niche City law firms representing high profile clients in technology (IT contracts) and intellectual property (patent and copyright) litigation.

Kevin Northcott, AGCS head of financial lines regional unit London, said: “Graeme will become our centre of excellence for Tech PI across the whole region including the UK, Ireland, Canada, Middle East, North Africa, Australia and New Zealand. He will have overall responsibility for the strategic development of the Tech PI book from the smallest IT businesses to the largest global companies. His appointment provides AGCS, our brokers and our clients with substantial expertise and extends further our ability to provide solutions to our technology and cyber clients. This is a significant step forward in our ability to provide a full suite of financial lines products and services.”
