AGCS appoints RSA exec as regional market head

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has appointed Jen Rex to the role of head of market management for its regional unit London (RUL), which includes UK, Ireland, Nordic Region, Dubai, and Russia.

Based in London, Rex will join Allianz in October with responsibility to lead key account management and broker distribution throughout the RUL region.

Rex joins Allianz from RSA, where she was most recently senior strategic account director. She started at RSA in 2008 as an account manager. She has over 25 years’ experience working in New Zealand and Ireland, as well as the London market.

“We are committed to attracting the very best talent to support brokers and clients. Jen brings a broad range of experience and knowledge having held various roles setting strategy for sales and distribution, and broking in a number of large international businesses,” said Sinéad Browne, chief regions & markets officer and member of the board of management. “Her experience will position us to continue to stay-ahead of the evolving needs of our clients and brokers as we look to provide them with the very best that the Allianz Group has to offer.”
