Allianz Insurance appoints claims major loss manager

UK-based Allianz Insurance, part of the Allianz Group, has appointed Bob Dawson to the position of claims major loss manager.

In his new role, Dawson will have the responsibility for the major loss and multi-track motor and casualty claims handling teams including complex disease and the rehabilitation team.

Dawson, who has worked at Allianz for 11 years, most recently held the position of technical claims manager and had previously worked in the major loss team since its formation in 2007.

Ibi Moghraby, head of claims experience and customer strategy at Allianz, said: "With over 27 years of industry experience, Bob has an excellent technical pedigree. He is already very active in representing Allianz at industry forums and committees including as a member of the Motor Insurers Bureau’s Technical Committee."

"Bob has established himself as an effective technical leader and I have every confidence he will be a great success in this role," he added.
