Allianz Partners CEO Serge Corel joins insurtech start-up Cuvva

Insurtech startup Cuvva has hired former CEO of Allianz Partners, Serge Corel, as director of partnerships to play a key role in driving its future growth.

Cuvva is an app-based insurance provider that enables its customers to purchase comprehensive short-term motor and single trip travel insurance.

Corel served more than 22 years at Allianz Partners as CFO and more recently as managing director and CEO.

Cuvva founder Freddy Macnamara said: “We’re really excited to welcome Serge to the team. His extensive industry knowledge and varied experience will be a key part of our future growth.”

Corel commented: “After more than two decades in the industry, I’m eager to join the insurtech movement and help Cuvva challenge the way insurance products are built and sold.”
