Ratings agency AM Best has upgraded the financial strength ratings of the re/insurance subsidiary companies of James River Group to A from A-.
AM Best cited James River as displaying “strong operating performance and supportive risk-adjusted capitalisation due to its solid business profile and successful execution of its business strategy.”
Adam Abram, chairman and chief executive officer of James River, said: “We are very pleased to have our consistent underwriting and earnings, strong balance sheet and careful risk management practices recognized by AM Best.
