Another underwriter quits Skuld

Marine and energy liability underwriter Richard Rea is the latest underwriter to resign from marine insurer Skuld’s Syndicate 1897 at Lloyd’s.

The insurer said: “Richard Rea has resigned to pursue new opportunities.”

Yesterday, September 2, James Scott also resigned from his position as class underwriter upstream energy.

Prior to joining Skuld in 2011, he was managing director of Navigators Management. He has also held positions at Jardine Lloyd Thompson and Willis.
