ANV appoints ex-Starr, Chubb exec as underwriting director
ANV Global Services, the managing general underwriter (MGU) owned by insurance group AmTrust Financial Services, has appointed James Pittinger to the role of underwriting director with immediate effect.
Based in New Jersey, Pittinger will be responsible for the North American MGU business that focuses on management liability and professional lines products.
Pittinger joins ANV from Starr Indemnity and Liability Company in New York, where he spent eight years as vice president and financial lines division manager, responsible for D&O, EPL, fiduciary, crime and E&O for public, private, NFP and financial institutions. Prior to that, he was the vice president and regional manager of Chubb Group.
