ANV syndicate to lead A&H and cyber consortia

ANV Syndicates Limited (ASL) is set to launch accident and health (A&H) and cyber consortia next year, led by Syndicate 1861.

In a Lloyd’s capacity auction disclosure, ANV said that the A&H consortium will incorporate the book of affinity A&H business currently written by Syndicate 5820, as well as Syndicate 1861’s A&H portfolio.

“Compared with the Syndicate’s 2014 YOA (as currently forecast), the impact of the consolidation of these A&H portfolios is expected to be neutral (in terms of premium income and profit), with longer-term prospects significantly enhanced by this change,” said the disclosure.

ANV added that cyber will be a new class for Syndicate 5820.
