Aon extends CEO contract to 2023

Broker Aon has extended the contract with its president and CEO Gregory Case until April 1, 2023.

The employment agreement would otherwise have expired on April 1, 2020.

The contract amendment makes no changes to Case’s compensation arrangements. According to most recent available data by Bloomberg, Case’s total annual compensation amounts to $8.1 million.

As CEO, Case directs the efforts of more than 50,000 colleagues in more than 120 countries.

In 2017, Aon grew total revenues by 6 percent year on year to $10 billion, most of it organically.

At the same time, net income attributable to Aon shareholders declined 12 percent year on year to $1.23 billion in 2017.
