Aon hires Phelps in Enterprise Client Group expansion

Global professional services firm Aon has hired Richard Phelps as an Enterprise Client Group leader as part of expansion plans. He will report to Jim Herbert, co-global head of the company’s Enterprise Client Group.

Growth in the group has been driven by increased efforts to offer consistent best practice across the globe.

“We are delighted to have Richard join Aon and leverage his financial services expertise to focus on our financial institution clients,” said Herbert.

“Richard brings over two decades of tremendous experience in enhancing and deepening client relationships and we are confident in his ability to deliver even more value for our large market clients.”

Before joining Aon, Phelps worked at Barclays Investment Bank, where he held a number of senior client-focused roles. He will be based in London.
