Aquiline in talks to acquire Beach & Associates

Private equity firm Aquiline is reportedly in advanced talks with Beach & Associates, a Canada-based re/insurance intermediary, to acquire a majority stake in the firm.

At the time of publishing, Aquiline and Beach & Associates had not commented on the reports.

Aquiline, led by Jeffrey Greenberg, is a private equity firm based in New York investing in financial services enterprises in industries such as property and casualty insurance, banking, securities, asset management, life insurance and financial technology.

Beach & Associates is an independent reinsurance intermediary with branches in London, Bermuda, New York and Toronto. Its clients are mainly large US and international property and casualty commercial lines insurers underwriting specialty lines insurance products.
