Arch Insurance strengthens its A&H business with strategy and distribution hire

Arch Insurance has named a new senior vice president of strategy and distribution in its accident and health (A&H) business unit.

Jim Villa joins Arch Insurance with over 25 years of experience establishing and leading A&H businesses. He was most recently senior vice president and head of A&H at The Hartford, a role he left in August 2020. He has also served as global head and chief operating officer, worldwide life, A&H at Chubb Group, and has held executive roles at Aon and AIG.

At Arch he reports to Linda Fallon, executive vice president of travel, accident and health.

Fallon cited Villa’s “industry expertise in an array of roles and proven track record in business development, distribution and management.”

Villa said: “Arch’s successes across a broad portfolio of businesses has been impressive, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to drive continued growth.”
