Argo hires Hiscox exec

ArgoGlobal, the Lloyd’s insurer and member of Argo Group, has appointed Faye Chapman as medical malpractice underwriter. She will report to Paul Kneafsey, head of casualty.

Chapman joins from Hiscox where she spent over six years as development underwriter, most recently as malpractice underwriter, writing all new and existing UK retail business.

In her role at Argo, she will develop both the UK and international medical malpractice portfolios and will write facultative and delegated authority business

Kneafsey said: “Faye is a very talented underwriter who has already demonstrated her capability to grow and develop her own malpractice account. I am very pleased to welcome her to Argo and am certain that she will be a key asset to our medical malpractice business.”
