Arnott Marine hires Sullivan to boost cargo MGA
Arnott Marine, a part of Castle Insurance Services, has appointed Brian Sullivan as broker relationship director to focus on developing its cargo underwriting capability to small and medium sized brokers in the UK.
Prior to joining Arnott Marine, Sullivan spent eight years working for TT Club as business development and logistics director in the UK.
"Arnott Marine has been a cargo market for brokers for a decade now," said Steve Gordon, non-executive director, Arnott Marine. "Our proposition was refreshed last year and we know where we can be really strong for brokers and make a difference to their operation."
Sullivan commented: "Having supported independent brokers in the UK for a large part of my career I am looking forward to be distributing the Arnott Marine cargo business.
"Arnott’s focus on exceptional service levels for small and medium sized brokers was a big attraction for me as was the focus on helping these brokers generate new income for themselves with some interesting initiatives like Broker Accelerator and Broker Comfort, where as a group of professionals we are essentially giving brokers our skills and know-how for free so they can do the best for their clients and for themselves."
