Aspen hires Liberty Mutual exec

Aspen Risk Management (ARM), a subsidiary of Aspen Insurance, has appointed Ian Floyd as head of claims, North, based in its Manchester, UK office.

Floyd will establish and manage a newly-formed claims function in the North, reporting to Sue McCall, head of claims.

He joins ARM from Liberty Mutual where he held the position of senior claims specialist. Prior to this, he has worked for Aegon, Independent Insurance, Capita Aurora and Robins Claims Solutions in various senior technical management roles.

In addition, John Cox has been promoted to head of claims, South, based in Croydon. Cox has been with ARML since 2011.

He has a strong reputation for being proactive in helping businesses recover quickly after a loss and for settling claims.”
