Association of Average Adjusters welcomes new fellows and senior associates
The Association of Average Adjusters (AAA) has welcomed two new fellows and three senior associates who qualified through its most recent examinations.
Ryoko Shimura and James Willan become AAA fellows, while Julia Roumanou of Independent Average Adjusters of Athens; Christian Freuling of RHL, Piraeus, and Phillip McCabe of RHL, Liverpool, become senior associates.
Shimura is a Tokyo-based average adjuster with Charles Taylor. She joined the firm in 2015 and qualified as a senior associate of AAA in 2019.
Willan joined the Liverpool office of Richards Hogg Lindley (RHL) in August 2013 and qualified as an associate of AAA in 2014, becoming a senior associate in 2020.
Roumanou joined Independent in early 2007 after working in the Greek state audit office, and qualified as an associate member of AAA in 2015. McCabe joined RHL in August 2013 and was seconded to the firm’s Singapore office during 2016. Freuling joined RHL’s London office in July 2018 and transferred to the Greece office in July 2020 to support the local adjusting practice.
In addition, 13 exam candidates qualified as associates.
AAA examinations are open to adjusters, lawyers, brokers and insurers worldwide. The exams are normally held in January, March, and October each year.
