Aston Lark looks to expand its motor expertise with DNA Insurance acquisition

Aston Lark, the chartered insurance broker backed by Goldman Sachs, has moved to strengthen its motor trade expertise with the acquisition of a UK-based motor trade specialist with offices in Romford and Southampton.

Aston Lark has acquired DNA Insurance Services, a business that was established in 2003, in a move that is intended to build on its existing motor expertise.

Peter Blanc, group chief executive officer at Aston Lark, said: “DNA have grown really well by specialising in hard to place and challenging motor trade which sits extremely well alongside our Road Runner business. Between DNA and Road Runner we will be the broker of choice for every type of motor trader.”

Danny Imray, managing director at DNA Insurance, highlighted Aston Lark’s customer-first ethos. “We’re excited about working even harder going forward and growing further both organically and through acquisition with the additional resources we’ll have available to us as part of the Aston Lark Group,” he added.
