AXIS pays departing A&H CEO $1.8m

AXIS is paying the departing CEO of AXIS accident & health (A&H), Christopher DiSipio, a severance payment of $1.8 million.

DiSipio will be leaving the company effective April 1, 2018, amidst a reorganisation of the business.

AXIS is merging the A&H business into its core insurance and reinsurance segments. The move is expected to deliver synergies in combination with AXIS’ property/casualty (P&C) insurance and reinsurance businesses.
