AXIS Re nabs Hiscox Re and Guy Carpenter duo for North America property

AXIS Re, the reinsurance business segment of Bermuda-based AXIS Capital Holdings, has hired underwriters Sue Ringold and Bill Orendorf for its North America property team.

Ringold joins as a senior underwriter and Orendorf as an underwriter, both based in Bermuda.

Ringold joins AXIS Re from Hiscox Re where she spent more than 10 years. Most recently, she was a senior underwriter for property treaty, focused on the North America & Caribbean regions.

Orendorf joins from Guy Carpenter where he was a senior vice president. Prior to that, he held various underwriting roles at Chubb Tempest Reinsurance and Transatlatic Re.
