Barbican hires RSA exec

Barbican Insurance has appointed Lloyd Howson as group finance director, to replace Richard Cunningham.

Cunningham, who has served at Barbican for more than six years, has moved to the position of deputy managing director of Barbican Managing Agency.

Howson joins Barbican from RSA, where he served most recently as engineering inspection and consultancy director.

David Reeves, chief executive officer of Barbican, said: “Lloyd has had a long and distinguished career both in finance and general management. He brings a proven track record of delivery and is an excellent addition to our management team.”
