Beazley names head of specialty risks and US programmes
Specialist insurer Beazley has formed a new division to accelerate innovation of future insurance solutions.
Florian Beerli has been named head of specialty risks & US programmes. He will take up the position in addition to his current role as global lead for product recall.
Beazley's specialty risks & US programmes product offerings include product recall, media liability, miscellaneous medical & life sciences (small business), and US specialty programmes. Its suite of products are niche by nature, and require wide underwriting and claims expertise in order to navigate the nuances of the industries these policies cover.
Beerli said: “Bringing together this team of technical and knowledgeable experts from across these specialty product areas, enables us to pool ideas and develop an environment of innovation for future insurance solutions.
