Beazley overhauls cyber & tech leadership to drive global growth

Specialist Lloyd's re/insurer Beazley has unveiled a new leadership structure within its global cyber & tech underwriting team, in a move it hopes will enable better internal collaboration and help drive global growth.

Paul Bantick, who currently leads the London market & international cyber & tech team, will take on global responsibility for cyber & tech from July.

The new leadership team also includes Bob Wice, Kristen Dauphinais, Alec Cramsie and Alessandro Lezzi.

Wice, currently head of US cyber & tech, will now lead global underwriting management for the team. In this role he will work with the cyber & tech underwriting team to drive continued and efficient growth.

Dauphinais will be promoted from head of US middle market cyber & tech to head of US cyber & tech. Her responsibilities will include all middle market and large risk underwriting in the US.

Cramsie will lead a newly formed London wholesale team. He is currently head of London market US cyber & tech. In his new role, he will be responsible for all US and international business placed in London.

Lezzi will continue as head of international cyber & tech. His underwriting responsibility spans Canada, the UK regions, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He is responsible for Beazley’s international cyber & tech strategy and distribution and will chair the London wholesale and international management team.

Bantick said: “As the risks facing insureds become more complex, our new cyber & tech leadership team strengthens our ability to take a global approach to managing and underwriting these risks for clients and brokers. Our team will be working closely with the wider cyber & executive risk team to provide solutions that address the array of risks that boardrooms face today.”
