Berkshire BHSI beefs up UK claims unit with new leadership roles

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has bolstered its claims leadership in the UK with two new appointments.

Ben Barker (pictured) has been named head of claims, UK, and Maeve Kelleher as head of executive & professional lines claims, UK.

“As our portfolio has been growing in Europe, our team has as well, amassing the depth and breadth of talent to deliver on our claims is our product philosophy. Ben and Maeve have been leaders in serving our customers and building our claims team in the UK, and we are pleased to recognize their contributions and expand their impact as they take on these new leadership roles,” said Andrew Walker, Head of Claims, Europe, BHSI.

Barker has nearly two decades of industry experience and joined BHSI in 2018. He was previously head of executive & professional lines claims for the UK.

Kelleher joined BHSI in 2019 and has more than a decade of industry experience. She was previously senior claims director, executive & professional lines, UK at BHSI.
