Bishopsgate replaces CEO Pearce with RFIB's Turnbull
Lloyd's broker Bishopsgate, part of the Ardonagh Group, has appointed Jonathan Turnbull as its new chief executive officer (CEO), replacing Neil Pearce. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Turnbull is the former and chief executive officer and group chief financial officer of Lloyd’s insurance and reinsurance broker RFIB Group. He joined RFIB in 2008 as CFO and assumed the CEO role in October 2011. He stepped down as CEO in 2015.
Pearce has served as the CEO of Bishopsgate Insurance Brokers since 2017. He joined Towergate Insurance, a UK-based insurance intermediary and the previous owner of Bishopsgate, in August 2016. Prior to that, he was managing director of Windsor Insurance Brokers and executive director of SBJ marine and energy.
