BMS Group hires senior construction specialists to launch new unit

Specialist re/insurance broker BMS Group has introduced a new construction unit, appointing Philip Maloney as managing director to act as head.

The team will focus on construction and engineering re/insurance, and Maloney will report to Ian Gormley, director of BMS.

Maloney has 21 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector, having most recently served as director of construction and engineering at THB London.

Prior to that he served as partner for construction and engineering at JLT Re, and previously global head of construction and engineering at Aon Benfield.

Maloney will be joined by Scott Davison, who was previously a partner with international construction at JLT Specialty, and Henry Morgan, almost from international construction at JLT Specialty.
