Brit Global Specialty expands cyber team with AVP hire from DUAL

Specialty re/insurer Brit has appointed Shana Stodolski as assistant vice president, cyber, for Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU).

Shana joins from DUAL Commercial where she was a cyber liability and E&O underwriter. Prior to that, she began her career in insurance at Chubb including holding roles underwriting both cyber liability and professional liability.

Shana will be based in Glastonbury, Connecticut and be responsible for supporting the continued profitable growth and underwriting of cyber for BGSU. She will report to Jeff Norton, senior vice president of cyber liability.

BGSU recently appointed Douglas Ruhlman as assistant vice president, cyber in December 2019.

Nick Davies, president of Brit Americas, said: “We are pleased to welcome Shana as the latest addition to our Cyber team in the US as we continue to expand our capabilities. As we look to establish a leading offering, we have a focus on adding people who bring both strong technical underwriting expertise and proven records in profitably growing cyber books.”
