Brit taps AIG, NAS executives to grow cyber & technology practice
Specialty re/insurer Brit has appointed James Patterson and Ryan Mimmo as vice president, cyber & technology, for Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU).
Patterson joins BGSU from AIG where he worked as a cyber specialist, while Mimmo comes to BGSU from NAS Insurance, where he was assistant vice president, technology E&O and cyber liability. Mimmo previously held claims and underwriting roles across cyber, technology and professional liability at Zurich North America, Marsh & McLennan Companies and ACE.
Patterson and Mimmo will be responsible for underwriting and supporting the growth of BGSU’s cyber & technology offering.
Both the executives will report to Jeff Norton, senior vice president, cyber and technology, and are based in San Francisco and New York, respectively.
