Brown & Brown eyes Irish market with Quinlan deal

US-based insurance broker  Brown & Brown has completed the acquisition of a Dublin-based boutique-style commercial insurance brokerage to expand its presence in the Irish market.

Following the deal, Quinlan Insurance by O’Leary Insurances has become part of  Brown & Brown.

Quinlan offers professional commercial insurance advice, services and solutions to a range of commercial segments. The brokerage was founded by Patrick Quinlan, who has over 35 years of experience in the insurance advisory business.

Quinlan believes the deal provides certainty to its customers and staff in the current uncertain times and allows it to further grow its business.
