CAC Specialty builds natural resource team with slew of hires
Specialty insurance brokerage CAC Specialty has expanded its natural resources division with six new appointments, including hires from Willis Towers Watson and Aon.
Robert Carvell joins as senior vice president of CAC’s risk & project management division, natural resources in Houston, Texas. He has more than four decades of energy surveying, risk management and claims project management expertise, and most recently served as vice president of risk and project management at Energy and Marine Risk Services in Houston.
Michael Ford will serve as senior vice president of CAC’s mining division natural resources in Knoxville, Tennessee. He comes from Willis Towers Watson, where he was senior vice president.
Anna Anderson joins as senior account manager at CAC natural resources unit in Knoxville, Tennessee. Previously, she worked at Scott Insurance, and has over a decade of experience in leading accounts and developing new programmes.
Josh Jakubowski, vice president of claims in CAC mining division in Knoxville Tennessee, comes from Willis Towers Watson where he served as senior claims consultant.
John Hohlt joins as senior vice president of surety in Houston, Texas. Hohlt specialises in servicing and consulting on all surety needs across the oil and gas industry. He started his career with Argo Surety as a surety underwriter before joining Wortham in 2015.
Finally, Justin Treat has been appointed as a producer in natural resources practice, Houston, Texas. Before joining CAC, he was assistant vice president and account executive at Aon – energy group.
