CAC Specialty launches new office in Knoxville, welcomes EVP
Global specialty broker CAC Specialty has launched a new office in Knoxville, Tennessee. It will house the company’s expanded natural resources division (CAC NR), which includes CAC Specialty’s mining division.
Along with opening the new office, CAC Specialty has hired Tracy Tucker as executive vice president for commercial surety at CAC Specialty Natural Resources in Knoxville. Tucker has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, working in production and servicing, underwriting, reinsurance, claims mitigation and credit rating for mining and mining related companies.
He has worked with non-US regulatory ministries and agencies to use surety as an acceptable form of financial assurance. Along with his responsibilities with CAC Specialty, he is also an officer and board member for a specialty insurer concentrated on surety, where he interfaces with credit rating agencies, regulatory authorities, and reinsurers.
