Cathedral Underwriting appoints CFO

Global specialty insurance firm Lancashire Holdings has appointed Heather McKinlay as the chief financial officer (CFO) of Cathedral Underwriting, the Lloyd's managing agency within the Lancashire Group.

McKinlay has acquired extensive experience of the Lloyd's and London insurance markets, having served in both executive and non-executive roles.

Alex Maloney, group chief executive officer, said: "I am pleased to welcome Heather to the Group and I look forward to her joining the Cathedral management team.

Richard Williams (active underwriter for Syndicates 2010 and 3010) and I have been working together on the appointments of additional underwriters to the property reinsurance team in Cathedral's Syndicate 2010 and we expect to finalise these appointments over the coming weeks which will further enhance our service to our clients and brokers.”
