Chubb’s ESIS appoints PwC insurance director as senior vice president

ESIS, the risk management solutions division of property/casualty insurer Chubb, has appointed Todd DeStefano as senior vice president to lead its professional liability business ESIS ProClaim.

DeStefano joins ESIS from PwC, where he served as the director of its underwriting, claims, and insurance operations practice. He has over 30 years of insurance industry experience in property/casualty, professional liability commercial and personal lines, excess, reinsurance, and group benefits.

In his new role, DeStefano will report to ESIS president Joe Vasquez.

ProClaimSM provides claims administration and risk consulting services to healthcare providers, professionals, manufacturers, and their insurers.

"Todd's extensive experience in property casualty claims, risk management, and underwriting makes him the ideal individual to lead and grow our ProClaim division," said Vasquez.

"Our commitment and investment to growing our professional liability capabilities is stronger than ever.
