Clifford Chance names co-leaders for its global insurance group in New York and London

Clifford Chance has appointed two partners in London and New York to be co-heads of its global insurance group, which includes more than 200 lawyers globally.

Ashley Prebble in London and Gary Boss in New York have nearly 50 years of experience serving the insurance industry between them. Prebble was formerly head of Clifford Chance’s financial institutions group, where he served re/insurers and intermediaries.

Boss also served in the financial services space, working in the insurance, banking and finance, capital markets and M&A corporate practices.

Between them they have supported re/insurers on complex transactions, disputes, financing, regulatory and commercial matters across multiple financial centres.

Guy Norman, global head of corporate at Clifford Chance, praised the pair for their “tremendous dedication and commitment to the sector.”

He added: “Their combined expertise and perspectives from both sides of the Atlantic will underpin our focus on delivering the highest quality advice to clients on their global operations.”
