CNA Hardy has appointed Carl Day to lead its energy, marine and aviation book of business.
Day joins from Hiscox where he was responsible for upstream energy.
“Energy has traditionally been a major focus of both CNA and Hardy and will remain one for CNA/Hardy. We have a diverse product offering, focusing on upstream and downstream energy, and in addition we have sizeable renewable energy and power generation portfolios,” said the company.
“We are committed to profitable growth and expanding our book of business. We will focus on building scale and relevance in our chosen sectors and continue to investment in top talent.”
His appointment complements the recent additions to CNA Hardy's energy team. At the end of 2014, it appointed Matthew Bond to lead power generation and Miles Osorio to lead D&F property.
