Cobbs Allen expands team with hire of new claims and coverage advisory services leader

Cobbs Allen, a national independent agency, is expanding its executive-level team with the addition of Seth Kirby – adding 20 years of industry experience to the company.

Kirby joins the team as vice president of claims and coverage advisory services at Cobbs Allen. Prior to Cobbs Allen, Kirby served 11 years at Freeman Mathis & Cary as a partner with a focus on insurance coverage and professional liability groups.

At Cobbs Allen, Kirby will be tasked with providing analysis and counselling on complex coverage issues and will lead the claims and coverage advisory services team. Kirby brings more than 20 years of experience to Cobbs Allen and was selected for inclusion in the 27th edition of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in Insurance Litigation, in addition to selection to the Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star list for 5 years.

“We are looking forward to welcoming Seth to the team,” said CEO Grantland Rice III. “Seth’s prior experience and counsel will serve him well in this new role and will allow him to make an immediate impact at Cobbs Allen. His analysis and insight on complex issues will prove invaluable as he helps service our clients across the United States.”
