Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers elects new chair

The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers has elected Robert Cohen, chairman and chief executive officer of The IMA Financial Group, as its new chairman.

He succeeds Bill Henry, chief executive officer of MHBT/MMA Southwest Region in Dallas, Texas.

Cohen was elected during The Council’s 103rd annual Insurance Leadership Forum (ILF) in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Cohen also serves on several boards of for-profit and non-profit organizations, including Atlas Advertising, Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation, Colorado Succeeds, Commerce Bank, Denver Sports Commission, Denver Zoo, Dovetail Solutions, Downtown Denver Partnership, MSU Denver, Southern Hospitality, United States Olympic and Paralympic Foundation, and Visit Denver.
