Crowell & Moring makes senior hire for re/insurance group

Law firm Crowell & Moring has appointed Laura Foggan as a partner for its re/insurance group.

Foggan has over 25 years of experience handling a range of trial and appellate matters involving complex insurance claims. She joins the firm from Wiley Rein, where she led its Insurance Appellate Group. She has served as lead counsel in several insurance disputes.

Foggan is the former co-chair of the American Bars Association's Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, and the founding co-chair of the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia's Insurance Law Forum, among others.
