CV Starr opens Paris office

New York-headquartered underwriter and insurer, CV Starr, has opened its Paris office as the firm looks to develop its European presence.

Nicolas Berg has been appointed as CV Starr’s regional manager Europe, Starr Casualty; with Olivier Decombes as regional manager Europe, Starr Tech.

Addressing the move, Maurice “Hank” Greenberg, chairman and chief executive officer of CV Starr, stated: “I am very pleased that we are opening an office in Paris and elsewhere in Europe. It is consistent with our long-time experience and familiarity with the industry in France.”

The new French office is further evidence of CV Starr’s intention to expand its product offering in Europe and beyond.
